“A Full House Revival? Have Mercy!”
“You Want More Full House? You Got It, Dude!”
At least 80% of the reason I’m writing this is because of the golden headline potential. Aside from that, TV Guide is also reporting a bit of news about John Stamos is working with Full House executive producer Bob Boyett and creator Jeff Franklin about a possible revival of the hit sitcom. It seems as though Candace Cameron Bure (D.J.), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie), and Andrea Barber (Kimmy) are on board, with Bob Saget and Dave Coulier (Danny and Uncle Joey) also involved somehow. No word on if Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen would be returning in any capacity.
The three leading men have reunited in their roles more than once since the end of the show, most recently for a skit on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon earlier this year. Nothing yet is official, and there is no word on what exact format the series would take, but Stamos does seem to be actively pursuing the opportunity, and considering he has ownership stake in the original series, that’s worth something.
Head to TV Guide to read more details. We’ll keep you posted if anything else develops.
