After months of rumours, Sony has finally announced PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, the long-awaited crossover fighting game that features PlayStation icons like Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Sly Cooper, Parappa the Rapper, and even Fat Princess. Think of it like Super Smash Bros. for the PS3. Players will get arenas inspired by different Sony titles, and like most fighting games, it’ll feature local and online play, along with a tournament mode.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is the first project from newly-formed developer SuperBot Entertainment, and the studio hopes to appeal to casual and hardcore fighting fans. There’s no word yet on a release window, and more details will be revealed at E3 in June. In the meantime, you can satisfy your craving by checking out the stills below:
