Warner Bros. and DC have moved the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ahead by about a month. It will now land in theatres on March 25, 2016, which means it will avoid the third Captain America movie that was set to debut on its last release date of May 6, 2016. Yes, that means Cap has scared off the combined strength of Batman and Superman.
This isn’t the only big DC movie on the way. Warner Bros. has announced release dates for an entire slate of upcoming films that will take place in their new cinematic universe. They haven’t said what each film will be, but it’s a good bet that the ‘Untitled WB Event Film’ on November 16, 2018 will be the first Justice League movie. Don’t be surprised if one of the films is also a Wonder Woman solo outing.
With DC, Marvel, and now Star Wars cranking out so many films, we nerds are very spoiled.
