FIFTY EPISODES. Wow. Just…wow. Vic and Scott celebrate by inviting a few members of the design team behind The Last Of Us down into their underground hell-pit. That’s right, it’s Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann, dishing all the behind-the-scenes dirt and waxing poetic on the frontrunner for what could be Game Of The Year. Who was the secret third character in the game? Will there be a sequel? And what the hell is the deal with Ellie looking almost exactly like Ellen Page? Vic and Scott ask the Dogs the tough questions—which is how they do.
SPOILERS WARNING: There are some The Last of Us Spoilers in this episode.

Who has played and finished The Last of Us? What’s you think!?
Played it and finished it. Loved it. It has become my favorite game of all time. This is why Sony’s platform always wins for me.
I’m game for an everyday podcast. Who’s with me!
I am!!If they can do it but I’m more than content with all the work they do ^_^
Scratch that.I can’t contain the burning passion for this anymore, nor even pretend to for them xD
Agreed! A daily podcast would make my day I would like to hear these guys talk about all and everything frankly.
I agree with Scott as usual. I didn’t care what Microsoft is doing, people complained about the lack of ownership and yet many of those same people praise Steam as Gabe’s gift to gaming and that service killed ownership years ago.
I’m also disappointed that Microsoft back peddled. Scott’s assessment is pretty accurate. Why didn’t they have the fortitude to stick to their guns?
I played The Last of Us, loved the relationships between the characters, the environments, the game play, but the overall story left me a little disappointed. I found the story to be too predictable in that from the moment you find out you have to escort this girl, you know exactly why she is important before it is revealed. On top of that I also predicted what was going to happen once you got her where she needed to go. I was hoping for something fresh, but the story lead where I thought it would.
Also for forgot to say,Scott, everybody knows your name here (and the rest of the good vibes in that shows opening!)
Epic Season 1. Can’t wait for Season 2.
I have yet to play The Last of Us… stupid me, I sold my PS3 in February to put towards a PS4. Here’s hoping it comes to PS4.
great listen, really liked the candid talk with the ND guys.
