Halo 5 Multiplayer Beta Begins Dec 27

Yesterday, it was announced during Microsoft’s E3 2014 press conference that the Halo: Master Chief Collection would include access to the Halo 5 beta, and now an update on Halo Waypoint has confirmed the exact date that access will be granted.

According to the page, owners of the collection will be able to try out Halo 5‘s multiplayer from December 27. The beta will run for just over four weeks, and is scheduled to end on January 22, 2015. Although 343 does note that the beta start and end dates may change. Also, it’s worth noting, that to access the beta you will require the Halo: Master Chief Collection disc, so don’t trade the collection in or sell it before December 27.

“Be among the first to experience a new generation of Halo multiplayer in the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta, starting on December 27, 2014,” the page reads.

The Halo: Master Chief Collection is set to launch November 11 exclusively on Xbox One, and includes every Halo game that stared Master Chief: Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition, Halo 2 AnniversaryHalo 3, and Halo 4.
