It looks like we might have to wait a little longer for the next-gen version of Minecraft.
Developer 4J Studios has announced that some new bugs have been discovered in the PS4 version of the game, which will need to be fixed before it can be released. There’s no word on exactly how long this will take, but it makes it seem doubtful that the game will arrive before the end of the month as originally planned. Along with the PS4, new versions of Minecraft are also in the works for the PlayStation Vita and Xbox One, but they still have bugs to be worked out as well.
Expect a more firm release date for all three of the new Minecraft ports soon. 4J Studios also created the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
