Microsoft has revealed that Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will finally be available on Friday, September 5. It will cost $20 for new players, and anyone who’s already bought the Xbox 360 version will be able to upgrade for just $5. All your save files and any DLC purchased for the 360 version can also be transferred over for free.
This follows weeks of issues and delays, with the developers struggling to work out some last-minute glitches and bugs. Expect the PS4 and Vita versions to also land very soon, possibly on the same day, although we’re still waiting for an official announcement about that from Sony.
