The side-scroller Rogue Legacy, first released on the PC a year ago, will finally be available on the PS3, PS4, and Vita starting July 29.
Rogue Legacy is billed as a “rogue-lite” game. It features the randomized, procedurally-generated levels required by rogue-like games, but what makes it different is that there’s no perma-death. When you die, all your XP will transfer over to another, randomly-generated character. If you’re still confused, this interview with the game’s creator Kenny Lee should help make things more clear.
The Sony versions will offer all the same features as the PC version, and include cross buy and cross save support. Watch our review of the PC version by clicking here.
