Watch a Fish Play Pokemon on Twitch

Something smells a little fishy.

The massive social experiment Twitch Plays Pokemon apparently made too much sense, because a Twitch user has setup a new channel where a real life fish plays Pokémon Red/Blue. As you can see in the stream above, the inputs are based on what portion of the bowl the fish decides to swim to, with each area corresponding to a different button. We’re pretty sure the fish itself doesn’t know what’s going on, so this is probably going to take a while.

According to the info on the stream page, the fish is named Grayson Hopper, and the stream was set up by a group of students in their dorm room for the hackNY student hackathon. Grayson, the fish, recently picked up his first Pokemon, a Charmander that he named AAAABBK, and also won his first battle against a rival’s Squirtle.
