Guys dont you think its alot uncool that i cant watch this on my vita?
twitch made a comment that they’d love to have a twitch app for handhelds. I hope it happens.
The question about PSVita’s reduced first party support is interesting.
If the wiiu is picking itself up, I think it’s because the number of first party exclusives is increasing now and into 2015.
That takes a lot of time and $ and it seems as though Sony doesn’t wants to make that commitment for the Vita now that the PS4 is around.
I’m looking forward to hohokum but I’m hoping Gamescom 2014 will have a reveal for something on a large scale like Gravity Rush 2.
Will the epn team be at games com this year?
This is crazy, I have to assume in the middle of this podcast they are talking about Divinity: Original Sin, as they barely mention the name while gushing over it, I hear “this game” a lot, and actually had to come back to this page to figure it out. They do drop the word Divinity once quickly but if you happen to miss that, you may have no idea what game they are talking about..
Thank you I got sick if them talking about Microsoft and skipped ahead and couldn’t find where they mentioned the name of this apparently amazing game.
Is it just me, or is the sound of this particular video very low? And why does Marissa have to always be so…Marissa-y?
I was thinking the same thing (about Marissa, that is). “The WiiU has outsold Xbox One” – What? A bit vague, sweeping statement. Looking forward to Scott’s triumphant return so the podcast’s contributions to the conversation aren’t so… one-sided.
I own the xbox one and really love it. I don’t understand the lack of love that Vic and marissa have for it. I love the kinect and it has become a central part of my family’s entertainment system. Even my mother in law is using voice commands on it. I also have more games than I have time to play so it’s getting really frustrating to hear that the system isn’t a good system. I think you’re forgetting that we don’t get to play every game that comes out, we don’t all get to play games for multiple hours every day, and that a lot of is want our systems to do more than just play games. I have yet to see an experience I can have on the PS4 that I can’t have on the One. And normally I wouldn’t care, but I feel strongly about the advancements the One makes as an entertainment system and hate feel frustrated that people are writing it off.
By the way I love everything you do but I think you’re losing a little perspective of the average gamer
The problem I find with Xbox One and PS4, is that when they were first revealed Xbox One tried to innovate and all that PS4 seemed to do was pander. Personally I don’t really give kudos for a company promoting the status quo. People don’t know what they want, it’s up to companies and innovators to give them an experience which evolves what they knew before. The most disappointing thing about Xbox One is that they caved in to all those consumer demands.
Having said all that I haven’t bought either system because I haven’t seen a need for it. The lack of both backwards compatibility and compelling next-gen products makes it an easy choice to stick with the 360/ps3 for now. It will take a new Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Mirrors Edge or other similar game to convince me to take the plunge.
I don’t feel vic and marissa are being fair, I own both consoles and I prefer my Xbox because as of now it’s on the most if I’m not using it to play a game Im watching t.v through it or using YouTube ect…. Not to mention Microsoft has at least touched base with all us with all these monthly updates and changes. Yes they may have backpedaled a bit but only to satisfy us the consumer, so at least they care because wether or not people want to admit it drm is the future it’s what’s going to save developers. Microsoft makes one mistake and there the worst company on the planet? Meanwhile sony lies and sneaks around and goes out of their way to make Microsoft look dumb and no one cares. Not to mention sony isn’t exactly in best financial situation either, they have a hard time selling their tv’s, tablets ect…I’m just sick of hearing every bad thing that happens to the Microsoft Xbox and everyone ignoring sony’s ps4. So vic how’s about balancing it a bit and try not to make it to obvious you favor the ps4 please.
