EPN History

Victor Lucas

Electric Playground was founded and launched by Victor Lucas in 1995. The show ran on television for over 25 seasons, becoming the world's longest running program focusing on gaming and geek-related news, reviews and commentary. It went through several transformations over the course of its television career - most notably splitting into two daily half-hour shows in 2010 - and reached millions of viewers.

The flagship show - EP Daily - focuses on delivering daily news and previews spanning "geek culture," covering topics such as toys, games, comics, and gadgets while also delivering on-location footage of events, red carpets, behind-the-scenes interviews, and more.

Its spin-off - Reviews on the Run - delivers consumer-focused reviews of the same type of content, earning a reputation for its raw honesty. Both shows continue to be produced and distributed online, predominantly via short segments delivered on YouTube.
